What Two Powers Means

Here is the claim, stated as plainly as it can be: long before Christianity, Second Temple Judaism held a theology of a second power in heaven. A figure who was somehow Yahweh, and somehow distinct from Yahweh.
One remained transcendent and unseen. The other appeared - walked, spoke, ate, wrestled, stood on ground he declared holy. Same identity, two presentations.
This was not a fringe idea held by a handful of mystics. It was mainstream Jewish theology, and it is why the Old Testament reads the way it does. The visible one turns up constantly, and the writers never flag it as a contradiction.
Which changes what the New Testament is doing. The apostles were not inventing a category to fit Jesus into. They were pointing at a category their readers already had.
