The Fool Resists God

Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing.
The foolish ones here are not the congregation. They are the prophets. Following their own spirit is the definition of the problem: the message has a private origin, and it contradicts what Ezekiel is actually being given.
Have seen nothing is meant literally. There was no vision at all.
