The Angels Who Sinned in Genesis 6

Heiser gave a whole episode to a single verse here, and his description of the problem is honest: Jude 6 is "both clear and yet raises many questions."
What is clear is the charge. A group of angels sinned, and their sin was leaving an assigned place. What raises questions is everything Jude does not say - which angels, when, and what exactly they did. He never explains, because he did not have to.
The answer comes from the text he and his readers shared. The sons of God of Genesis 6 are the Watchers of the Enochic tradition, and 1 Enoch 10 describes their binding in the terms Jude reuses.
