Sodom Departed Natural Order

Read Jude 6 and 7 as one sentence, because that is how Jude wrote them. Verse 7 opens with "just as" - it is a comparison, and the thing being compared is not the severity of the punishment. It is the nature of the offence.
Verse 6 uses two precise words for what the angels abandoned: their position, arche, and their proper dwelling, oiketerion. Both are words about an assigned place. Then "just as" - and Sodom, doing the matching thing from the other side. Heiser's treatment prints Genesis 6:1-4 alongside these verses for exactly this reason. Three texts, one argument.
