Paradise is Where Christ Is

In 2 Corinthians 12:4, Paul recounts being "caught up into Paradise — whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows — and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter." We learn from this that Paradise is a distinct realm, one so sacred and profound that its experiences are beyond human description. Paul is not merely describing a pleasant place, but a spiritual state of being in the direct presence of God. For us today, this teaching reassures us that Paradise is not a mythical, lost location but a present reality found in Christ. It means that whether in this life through spiritual communion or in the life to come, our deepest longing for perfect peace and fellowship is met in Him.
