No Pre-Flood Angelic Rebellion in OT

A story most of us absorbed without noticing: before Genesis 3, Satan rebelled and took a third of the angels with him. It is in paintings, hymns and study-Bible footnotes.
Heiser's response is a search of the text. There is nothing in "the entirety of Scripture" that tells us the original rebel sinned before Genesis 3, or that "a third of the angels also fell either before humanity's fall or at the time of that fall."
There is exactly one passage that puts a third of the stars and the dragon in the same scene - Revelation 12 - and what it describes is not the prologue to Eden. It is a dragon waiting to devour a child about to be born.

The familiar backstory is not in the Bible. What is there is a rebellion Jude actually names, and it happens in Genesis 6.
