The Evidence Was Not Hidden

The Bible’s textual history is not controlled by one surviving manuscript or one modern institution.
Evidence exists across manuscripts, fragments, ancient translations, quotations, centuries and geographical regions. A reading introduced in one stream can be compared with witnesses from another.
That does not make every difficult reading instantly certain. It makes investigation possible.
The manuscript tradition is transparent enough for disagreements to be identified, debated and reported in modern editions.
