Jesus Binds Fallen Angels

Read verse 5 before verse 6 and the subject carries straight over.
Jude 5 says it was "Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe." Heiser calls that "a shocking statement because it puts Jesus in the Old Testament" - the one who brought Israel out is identified with the figure the Old Testament calls the Angel of the LORD.
Then verse 6: "And the angels who did not keep their own position... he has kept in eternal chains." Same sentence, same subject. The one who holds the Watchers is the one Jude has just named.
