Israel's Future Hope

When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, then they shall dwell securely, and they shall build houses and plant vineyards.
The chapter has been about Tyre and its ruler. It closes with a hint that Israel's situation is going to change for the better - in contrast with the nations, whose judgment is described as fairly permanent.
One detail the sources draw out. The Greek words for gather and scattered in this verse are the same pair used in John 11, where Caiaphas unknowingly prophesies that Jesus would die to gather the scattered children of God.
