God Desires Turning

Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?
Heiser's emphasis on this chapter is about scope. The offer of repentance has gone out to a group, not just to one or two individuals. And he has little patience with readers who use Ezekiel 18 to villainise God, saying they forget the corporate mercy - the wideness of the offer to repent and live.
