The Attributes of God: Wisdom

The last of the shared attributes. God is not only omniscient, all-knowing - that was covered earlier. He is also perfectly wise.
The two are not the same thing. Knowledge is holding all the facts. Wisdom is the right use of them. Scripture credits God with both, and it points at creation as the demonstration: in wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. The world is not just an exercise of power. It is an exercise of judgement.
Paul then pushes it out of reach. Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God - how unsearchable are his judgements and how inscrutable his ways. Then the question: who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counsellor? The rhetorical answer is nobody. God has never taken advice. He is his own counsellor.
And yet this is a shared attribute. We can be wise too - as his imagers, by following his instructions for morality, justice, compassion, and generally for the way life is meant to be lived. Wisdom is available. It is just not invented by us.
