False Peace Still Falls

They have misled my people, saying peace when there is no peace, and when the people build a wall, these prophets smear it with whitewash.
Whitewash is cosmetic. The wall is already structurally doomed, and the coating only hides it. The sources describe these prophets as encouraging people to do this or that to protect themselves, when none of it would matter.
Ezekiel treats the whole practice as preaching false security to people who needed to repent.
