Everyday 45: God's Family

From the very beginning, God's overarching purpose has been to gather a devoted family for himself, rather than to establish a system of mere religious obligations or rituals. This profound truth is woven throughout the entire narrative of Scripture, from the foundational accounts of Genesis to the prophetic visions of Revelation. It beautifully illustrates God's ongoing work to create a people who are uniquely his, whose existence is characterized by a deep and abiding love—a loyal love that flows directly from his abundant grace.
This understanding is crucial because salvation is far more than simply being rescued from past wrongdoings or a one-time decision. It is an invitation into a divine family, where our core identity is defined by our relationship with Christ.
