Everyday 12: Fear of Death

The Apostle Paul writes in Hebrews 2:14-15 that Christ came so "that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those... subject to lifelong slavery." This complete authority means that "neither death nor life... nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus," as Romans 8:38-39 assures you, guaranteeing your future resurrection and embodied life in a restored creation where God dwells with His people forever.
