You shall drink your sister's cup, deep and large - a cup of horror and desolation.
The two sisters of this chapter are not people. They are ciphers, and the point of the metaphor is religious apostasy.
Their names carry the charge. Both are built on the Hebrew word for tent. Oholibah means my tent is in her, which points to Yahweh's worship in Jerusalem - Jerusalem is Oholibah. Oholah means her tent, Samaria's own tent by contrast. Two tents, and only one of them was his.

You will be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, a cup of horror and desolation, the cup of your sister Samaria. You shall drink it and drain it out, and you shall gnaw its shards, and will tear your breasts. For I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD.
