The record against you was nailed up

Paul pictures a signed record of debt with legal demands standing against us. He does not say it was reduced, suspended, or filed away for later.
It was cancelled - and the way he describes it, nailed to the cross. The charge sheet is not being held in reserve to be used against you one day.
