Continue in Believing Loyalty

Salvation is a gift of grace received through faith, not a reward earned through works. But biblical faith is continuing, believing loyalty to Jesus.
Paul says Christ has reconciled the Colossians "in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard." You do not achieve that standing. You are presented that way because of what someone else did.
Doubt, weakness and struggle are not apostasy. Abandoning Christ for another god is. Security belongs to believers who continue trusting the gospel.

Stay with the King who presents you.
