Jesus as the Embodiment of God's Name

In John 17:6, Jesus declares, "This is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." This statement from Jesus reveals that to know Him is to know God Himself, establishing an intrinsic connection between Jesus and the very essence of the Father. His mission involved making God’s true identity and character known to humanity, not just in concept, but through His very being.

This demonstrates that the authority and salvific power previously ascribed to Yahweh's Name are now fully present in Jesus.
