Salvation: Believing Loyalty to Yahweh Alone

We see that even significant personal failures, such as David’s sin recorded in 2 Samuel 11, did not lead to national exile because his fundamental belief and allegiance to Yahweh remained intact. The New Testament similarly affirms this principle, pointing to believing loyalty to Christ as Yahweh made visible, declaring, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). This loyalty is so crucial that faith must remain intact, as described in Romans 11:17-24, where it says, "Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery brothers. A partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in and in this way all Israel will be saved."
