Humanity's Role in God's Mission

God runs his purposes through a family - a heavenly one and a human one, working in tandem.
Humans are made as God's imagers, and imaging is about representation: acting on God's behalf, at his direction, in the place he has put you. That is the job description in Genesis 1, and it has never been withdrawn.
Hebrews adds the detail that surprises people. Angels are ministering spirits, sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation. The unseen servants are assigned to the heirs.
