Believers: Heirs of the World, Shining Like Stars

Daniel says the wise will shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars for ever and ever.
Star language in Scripture is not poetry about being admired. Stars stand for divine beings. When Joseph dreams of the sun, moon and eleven stars, the family is being pictured in that register deliberately.
So Daniel's promise is a statement about status. Revelation makes it explicit - the one who conquers will sit with Christ on his throne. Glorified believers take the places vacated by rebellion in the council.
