Enoch is shown a blessed place and, beside it, an accursed valley. The contrast is the point.
The Greek behind accursed valley most likely transliterates the Hebrew for the Valley of Hinnom - the place that becomes Gehenna. And the reason for the curse is its history: the valley was the site of pagan worship in the late pre-exilic era, the kind that involved passing children through the fire.
The blessed land beside it is fertile, full of trees. One geography, two destinies: the accursed valley is where judgment is gathered, and the righteous are the ones blessing the Lord of glory, the Eternal King.
