Debunking the Angelic Rebellion Myth at Creation

Somewhere in the story most Christians carry, Satan rebels before creation and takes a third of the angels with him. It turns up in hymns, in sermons, in study Bible notes.
It is not in the Bible. The sources are blunt: that is a Christian myth, and it comes from church tradition and writings like Milton's Paradise Lost rather than from Scripture.
Look at Revelation 12 itself. The stars are swept down after the child is born, not before creation, and the text never calls them angels. Read as a rebellion timeline, it does not work.
There is one passage in the Bible describing a group of divine beings rebelling together, and it is Genesis 6 - which is exactly where Peter and Jude point when they mention the angels who sinned.
